Mima collects configuration changes and activity triggers in real-time throughout the day, then runs five autonomous workflows overnight: ghost seat reclamation, JML leaver deactivation, FlexLM pool right-sizing, shadow AI blocking, and audit brief dispatch. The complex cognitive reconciliation is deliberately isolated to a background run — so your dashboard reflects a verified position, not a work-in-progress.

Each workflow has an independently configurable autonomy level: Autonomous (executes overnight, no human required), Auto after 48h (stages for review, executes if no objection), Require approval (always waits for a human), Change-gated (blocked until a change request is approved), or Notify only (observes and alerts, never acts).
